Crimsafe’s Tensile-Tuff Security Mesh
The stainless steel mesh used in Crimsafe screens is 0.9mm thick and precisely woven with a much greater shear resistance than other security screens.
This means the screens will stand up against impact and knife attacks. With some security screens intruders can stab a knife into the screen, then use their body weight to drag the knife down, creating a hole in the mesh.
Under the Australian Standard “Knife Shear Test” the knife doesn’t penetrate the mesh. It skips along the surface, unable to create a hole.
Crimsafe Screw-Clamp Technology
The Crimsafe mesh is held fast between two serrated pieces of aluminium that clamp together with hooks on one side that hook into strips inside the other, which are then screwed together with tamper resistant screws.
This clamps the security mesh tight so intruders cannot kick the screen in. You are more likely to injure yourself than kick your way through Crimsafe security screens.
Crimsafe’s Tamper Resistant Screws
The screws used to clamp Crimsafe security mesh in place can only be applied or removed by a tool registered with Crimsafe. This ensures the integrity of your screen as the only person that could get through it (from the inside) is a licenced Crimsafe installer.
